Hello, I'm Ella
I'm a project manager, a parent, and an expat living in Zurich, Switzerland.
A few years back I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary assignment gradually became a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Began
Moving to Switzerland wasn't in the plans for the long haul. Like many worldwide assignments, it started as a job opportunity and soon grew into something far bigger.
The initial months were demanding — unfamiliar systems, new routines, new expectations. Everyday tasks seemed more complex than expected.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, uncertainty, and a lot of learning by doing. But gradually, routines took shape. We found places that fit us, met other families, and began building something that felt steady.
Why I Created Still Harbor Link
Most online information was either corporate relocation guidance or superficial tourism content. What was missing was an honest, everyday family viewpoint.
This site exists to fill that gap — practical advice drawn from real life in Switzerland.
